Costs Agreement

This document (including Annexure A Terms of Engagement) sets out the terms of our offer to provide conveyancing services to you and constitutes our costs disclosure pursuant to the Conveyancer’s Licensing Act 2003.

Section 1. What we will do for you

-       Review Contract for Sale of Land;

-       Negotiate on the terms of the Contract for Sale of Land;

-       Provide you with advice on the Contract for Sale of Land;

-       Assist with obtaining pest and building inspection report;

- Liaise with your bank/broker

-       Required correspondences with the agent, incoming mortgagee (if applicable) and Vendor’s representative;

-       Prepare Transfer document;

-       Process stamp duty on the purchase including any exemptions and concessions;

-       Prepare settlement statement and attend to settlement of your purchase.

Section 2. Our Fees

TOTAL Professional Fees including disbursements* $1,490.00

 

*Disbursements for house/vacant land include the essential 603 Council Rate Certificate, Sydney Water Certificate, VOI Fees, PEXA fee and stamp duty processing fee.

For the purchase of a strata unit, townhouse or apartment, an additional disbursement of $119.90 applies for the Section 184 Strata Levy Certificate.

Other charges not included in the above price:

Pest & Building Inspection ~$495.00

Strata Inspection Report ~$350.00

Transfer & Mortgage Fee payable by your bank ~$360.00

The total will be payable on settlement of your matter. If we cease to act for you following exchange of contracts but prior to settlement, you will be required to pay our reasonable costs for any works completed on your matter. For the avoidance of doubt, the review of Contract is complimentary. You will not be charged professional fees where Contracts are not exchanged or where you rescind during the cooling off period.
